We fix what's broken, fast, and we don't disappear after the invoice. Emergency dispatch available across Broomfield and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
A licensed technician arrives, runs a full diagnostic, and explains exactly what's wrong in plain language.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Broomfield have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Broomfield is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
That local context saves time on every call, because we're not starting from zero on basic questions about your neighborhood or your system. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Whether it's a mid-summer breakdown or a planned system replacement, our Broomfield techs handle it with the same level of care.
When your Air Conditioning Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Broomfield dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Broomfield homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Broomfield, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Broomfield households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"Got quotes from four different companies for a replacement and this was the only one that actually walked me through the load calculation. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
Understanding what typically fails helps homeowners know what to watch for and when a repair call is worth making before things get worse.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Broomfield roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.

Twice-yearly maintenance is the standard we recommend given the temperature swings the area sees.
Beyond basic safety checks, it's best to leave diagnosis to a licensed technician rather than attempting a repair yourself.

From the older, established streets near the center of Broomfield to the newer developments on the outskirts, our trucks cover the full footprint of the city.
If you manage several units or a shared system across a Broomfield property, ask about setting up a standing service account so every request gets handled under one consistent agreement.
Qualifying installations can be financed through options we'll walk you through during your in-home estimate, with terms explained clearly before you commit to anything. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Broomfield installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
